The New York Times website has a great tool HERE that lets you input info about your household and then tells you how many other households like yours exist in the US. The tool is a bit limited in terms of narrowing down to specific info, but the results are interested to think about. Here's my profile:
Apparently my household type, married couple with two kids under 18 years old, was more prevalent in 1960 than today, which totally supports the opinion I've had for a very long time that I should've been around in the 1960's.
